The 2010 edition of the Corporate Tennis Ladder is coming to the end this week. The members are to play the preliminary of round robbin of which shall qualify from each group to the knock out stage.

The Nigeria Tennis Federation has confirmed the date for the next CBN Senior open Tennis championship. According to the mail we received, the date is May 27th - June 5th, 2010. the event shall be male singles and doubles.

There shall be another edition of PTR Tennis Coaches Workshop and Certification from September 26th - 30th, 2010.

The April Edition of the PTR Tennis Coaches Workshop and Certification came to an end april 30th, with a mini tournament. All the new PTR guys with the old ones came together. Ismaila Sikiru, Ikeja Country Club Coach won the championship while Etido Udofi was th e runnes up. Christie agugbom and Benedict were the semi finalist.

This year event shall be hosted by the FHA Lawn Tennis Club, Festac.

The 2nd edition of the National Junior Tennis Championship sponsored by LM Ericsson shall be coming up in August. We are already discussing with our sponsor for this event.

Joseph Imeh of Aces Tennis Team, won Gold Medal at the All Nigeria Primary School Sports Festival and Silver in doubles. Also Nancy Marsal won Bronze in the girls singles of the event.

Joseph Imes (Unos) of Aces Junior Tennis Team won the 2009 CBN Junior Championships on Sunday 8th 2009. Also Aminat Quadri was the Runners Up of the U16 girls category. Joseph Imeh of Aces Tennis Team, won theUnder 12 category of LM Ericsson National Junior Tennis Championship on the 2nd May 2009. Ngozi Eze was the Runners up of the under 16 girls category of the event.

FRIENDS OF ACES TENNIS is a concept to raise funds through individuals and coporate organisations, to make Nigerian children champions in the game of tennis and champions in life.
